Really easy to use just turned up. Paid the money. Got a canoe. They take cards here now too. Public toilets in the car park next door. Park in the canoe car park which is free. Canoed from the payment box and got picked up at the end we did a 9 km canoe but we had lots of time to stop off and swim etc. Take drinks and food for a picnic half way. Despite the thunderstorm we had a great time. One of the easier rental places to use and also one of the most beautiful parts to canoe down the river.

Amazing experience, the river is gentle, so it's a great place to start for beginners

This was a highlight of our trip. The service was ok, not overly friendly, but less surly than some reviews make out. I guess if your lugging canoes back and forth all day in the heat, you wouldn't be up for a chat to the hundreds of tourists that pass through. This place is not the cheapest, but you got the back rests and waterproof container included, and it was a route that suited us. It is worth booking ahead of time if there is a large group of you, or you may miss out. The river is stunning, and gentle. There will be places that get very shallow, so watch the water and pick your path or you will get a bumpy ride. There are plenty of beaches to pull up on though not as many snack stops as I expected, so take plenty with you. You are not timed, but have to be back for the last bus at 7pm so don't miss it! The route times are more a guide as how long it would take if you paddled the whole way with no stops. Tip: Take a shorter route and really relax with lots of stops..Or take a longer one and get paddling!
