Musée des rois d'Araucanie Museums / Arts and Insdustrial Heritage in Tourtoirac

The Museum of the Kings of Araucanía is a museum on these astonishing kings from the end of the world, from the Périgord countryside. You will discover the extraordinary history of this family, in connection with the Mapuche people, but also a collection of documents and authentic pieces, coming from Patagonia and Araucania. This museum was previously in the house of Antoine de Touneins, first king of Araucania, in Chourgnac. He was transferred to the village of Tourtoirac.
