  We stumbled across this place in the pouring rain one evening in search of a bed and it was a good discovery. Everything was clean. Room was simply furnished, with en suite shower but shared loo in corridor - not ideal, but given the price and the fact we'd turned up on spec, no complaints. They have better accommodation, but all taken. Restaurant serves copious evening meals, with perhaps an emphasis on quantity over quality, and simple breakfasts of bread and spreads. Nice setting; relaxed atmosphere.

  Very welcoming.4 courses for €14 yes it was the cheaper option but duck is not my thing.Enjoyed all.Recommend a visit.Beautiful view from the terrace.

  We were staying at a b&b down the road from the Pech de Mallet and this restaurant was recommended to us for great authentic Perigord cooking. We had a wonderful dinner and wished we were in the area long enough to have a second meal there. The property has a little bit of a lost-in-time feel to it but the siting is superb with views of the distant cliffs from their terrace. We were there in rain so we ate indoors but I can imagine that it must be jammed during the warm summer months. Will manage to get back there, somehow.
