  Excellent campsite. Really good facilities, clean, friendly and well laid out. Gardens add an extra dimension and privacy. Wife had stayed here multiple times as a child, it was great then reportedly and has only improved since eg with additional swimming pools. We stayed in a Canadian style tent, it was spacious, comfy and well equipped.

  3rd time on this campsite, and again 5 of 5 stars, however, due to completely different reasons than before. During the previous years we had been impressed by the "hard facts" of this place: size in general and of the bay to place our caravan, facilities, friendly staff. This time there seemed to be some trouble with the sanitary facilities. This usually reduces the number of "like stars". Now the site's soft facts appear (which we consider as highly more important than the above mentione 'hard ones') . On the day of our leave the battery of our car was flat. On late Friday morning reaching someone of a garage nearby is practically impossible, and, of course, we failed. So Ellen as the 'boss in charge' rose to the strong shoulder I was able to cry at... ;) She sent 2 of her staff to our car who successfully managed to reanimate the battery - and most important - found the most likely reason for the electrical leakage and enabled us to leave and return safely to our office, approx. 1,100 km away. THIS is what counts! Friendly staff and well-kept premises are, upto a certain extent, exchangeable. But professional help in case of need is priceless. Pity that Google does not allow 10 of 5 stars - as that's what this place and staff deserves.

  Our third visit here . We first came in 2008 and loved it Can honestly say it's just as good if not better. The fabulous planting has matured and the pool complex is excellent. Restaurant and bar area very welcoming...especially at happy hour 😉. Only problem was lack of good hot water in the smaller sanitaries . We had a full service pitch so we used our own shower instead rather than walk over to the other facilities. Thank you For making our stay every bit as good as we remembered from past visits! Even got free welcome drink and a bottle of wine to take away with us when we left ☺️
