Camping la Colombière, located in Beaumont-du-Périgord, extends over a 1.5 hectare wooded park in the immediate vicinity of the village. This family campsite, now a member of the Ushuaïa Villages network, offers a preserved, entirely pedestrian environment, within a wood of oaks and pines. This configuration guarantees calm and security, while promoting a rejuvenating stay in the Dordogne.
The establishment has 53 accommodations, divided between chalets and mobile homes that can accommodate from 2 to 6 people. All are equipped to ensure optimal comfort. Vehicles remain parked at the entrance to the campsite, which allows children to play freely and vacationers to enjoy a serene setting.
Equipment suitable for everyone
Camping la Colombière offers a 100 m² heated swimming pool, modernized with a new liner and new coping stones. A water play area has replaced the old paddling pool, creating a fun zone designed for younger guests. A redesigned terrace accommodates sun loungers and parasols for relaxing moments throughout the day.
The snack bar located near the aquatic area is open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 3:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. in high season. It serves breakfasts, takeaway meals, ice creams, homemade pancakes and platters of local products to enjoy at aperitif time.
Services for a comfortable stay
The campsite offers several practical services: reception open every day , laundry room with washing machine and dryer, loan of fans, loan of electric griddles, ordering of bread and pastries in partnership with the village bakery. The toilets are accessible 24 hours a day, with facilities adapted for people with reduced mobility.
All rental accommodations are equipped with televisions and Wi-Fi is free throughout the site. A tennis court and a football pitch are available just a few meters from the entrance, in addition to a playground, a trampoline, and pétanque courts.

During the high season, daily activities are organized: children's workshops, sports tournaments, theme evenings. The aim is to encourage meetings between vacationers and to create a warm atmosphere. The location of Camping la Colombière offers numerous opportunities for exploration within a 30-kilometer radius. The fortified town of Monpazier, listed among the most beautiful villages in France, is a must-see. It seduces with its perfectly preserved medieval architecture and its traditional market.
The Château de Biron, an imposing fortress perched on a hill, traces several centuries of regional history. Further west, Bergerac offers an urban atmosphere, with its old quarters, its museums, its vineyards (including the Monbazillac and Pécharmant appellations) and its barge cruises on the Dordogne.
Hiking enthusiasts will appreciate the many marked trails starting directly from the campsite or from the surrounding villages. Routes suitable for walkers, cyclists and mountain bikers crisscross the countryside, between forests, valleys, rivers and small Périgord hamlets.
