La Retenue de Mialet Nature Reserves / Parks in Mialet

The Miallet reservoir is a body of water, located in Périgord Vert, near Saint-Saud-Lacoussière. It is part of the Périgord-Limousin Regional Natural Park . You can walk in this preserved environment and surprise birds, nesters and migrants depending on the season. A hiking trail is set up, with an observatory to preserve this Sensitive Natural Area. If you are lucky, you will come across Common Cranes there. Ducks and wetland birds are present there all year round. This fishing lake is famous, especially for carp and predators.
