Lovely private pitches spread throughout the forest. Nice for semi shaded camping add it can get very hot in the summer. Best of all, it's in the hills so tends to cool down at night and first thing in the morning. Showers, toilets and washing facilities are modern and clean. There are washing machines too. Good sized swimming pool which is heated with lots of sun loungers spread around. Very basic games room and play area for kids. Doesn't have a shop on site but beads can be ordered for delivery each day. An easy 3 minute drive to the local town with a reasonable supermarket and cafe.

Beautiful surroundings, large pitch, plenty of sun and shade and easy access with touring caravan. Relaxing went to sleep with sound of owl. Pool nice temperature with plenty of loungers. Great location for all best villages in Dordogne. Best showers yet in all time travelling in France. River and stream kept children occupied for hours.Well done Bel Ombrage.

Visited in June whilst the site was still quiet and found it very relaxing. It has a Main pool and two smaller pools for children which were always spotless with subads but No Parasols or shade available. The pitches are mostly quite large and well shaded, there is not a shop on site but you can order bread and croissants at reception for the following day. The toilet and shower block is of the open air European type but modern and clean with hot free showers. I would thoroughly recommend this site but believe it gets very busy in late July and all of Àugust.
