Isabelle and Hervé Tourneur welcome you to their charming guest house, located in the heart of the sumptuous Vézère Valley, a few kilometers from Montignac and its Lascaux caves.
Licorne Lascaux offers 5 guest rooms, comfortably arranged in the heart of a set of exposed stones, typically Périgord. Thanks to the independent accesses, you are in total autonomy, without however doing without the kindness and the attentions of your hosts.
Isabelle and Hervé invite you to share their meal, thanks to a table d'hôtes on Monday and Saturday during the low season (by reservation). Isabelle likes to serve Périgord specialties, locally sourced and seasonal, in generous and elegant dishes. Everything is homemade and after a friendly aperitif, you will sit down to enjoy dishes made with love. During the summer season, you will enjoy accompanying your guests to the festive gourmet farmers' market which is held every Friday in the village square of Valojoulx. A moment of gastronomy and fun that everyone is looking forward to.
The rooms have a capacity of 2 to 4 people, the neat decoration is matched only by the tranquility and comfort of the bedding, for serene and relaxed nights. Some rooms allow you to enjoy the landscaped garden of 3000m2. A saving haven of greenery in summer, to settle down to read, walk or play ping-pong. An interior courtyard completes this lawned area, with tables and chairs where you will be received for meals, but also an arbor in the beneficial shade in the heart of summer.
Back from your walks in Périgord Noir, take advantage of the heated swimming pool, available from the end of April to the end of October. Treated with salt, it is suitable for the whole family and is accessible from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Valojoulx is a small, pleasant rural town in the Vézère Valley. Its small town with its stone houses, its small producers' shop and its pretty lakes will charm you. You are ideally located to explore, on one side towards Montignac and Sarladais, Saint-Amand-de-Coly and the villages upstream of the river and on the other, Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère, Les Eyzies, the Bugue and all the heritage sites around the prehistory of the region. Between visits, culture, sport on the Vézère (canoe, kayak) and the pleasure of the splendid surrounding nature, you will spend a magical holiday!SERVICES ON SITE :
