Craft Beer from Périgord, La FAB
Jonathan invites you to discover his craft beer, produced in his micro-brewery in Siorac-de-Ribérac. It is at the gates of the Double forest, in a pretty rural and natural setting that the micro-brewery reveals beers of character with an authentic and natural taste.
In this old farmhouse, Jonathan and Rose have settled down and offer the rental of lodges as well as this delicious artisanal beer, the FAB. Jonathan uses traditional methods for brewing, 100% without additives. The beers are not filtered, they are sometimes a little turbid, it is the sign of their excellence! Locally produced, FAB beers are also ecological since Jonathan strives to seek out environmentally friendly raw materials, which come with gentle transport, responsible packaging and with true traceability of their origins. To do this, they strive to source the most local raw materials possible, in particular malt and hops, which are the two main ingredients of beer, with the possibility today of finding them in the neighboring departments. of the Dordogne, and perhaps soon in the Dordogne itself.
The 3 beers of the FAB micro-brewery
La Double Entendre: This is the favorite beer of FAB enthusiasts. A real English bitters. It is sweet on the first palate, with very present notes of caramel, a slight bitterness to counterbalance this sweetness, without excess. It is well balanced: thirst-quenching and rich in taste at the same time!
La Double Vie: This is a blond beer, brewed from malt but also from bread, leftovers from local bakeries! An original method to make beer with very low environmental impact. This beer is 100% made from local malts and hops! A good idea to taste urgently.
The Double Impact: Here is a tasting beer, which sports a beautiful black dress, and in the mouth a Porter style. Its malty body is silky and in the second mouth, you will discover a slight bitterness, refreshing. It is eaten at 10 or 12 degrees. Double Impact received the Lyon International Competition Gold Medal 2021!
