  Do not miss dinner! The place is very nice in a very approachable location. The room was big (could use a little more light perhaps) and well organised. Breakfest was very nice but the real highlight was dinner which was nothing less than excellent. I would gladly come back.

  Very bad hospitality at the restaurant. We got send away, half way during our drink because we decided not to have lunch after all. EDIT: In response to the owner: First of all, you never told us there was a sitting at the bar option for drinks. You threw the bill on the table without a word before we finished our drinks. Mind that we sat there for less then five minutes, we just asked to finish our drinks for a couple minutes. You said you would ask us to leave when there would be new costumers. When new customers came after a couple minutes, you send us away even though there were other tables still available. The way you treated us, especially your tone of voice, behavior and no given options we find this visit very unpleasant. Aren’t we allowed to change our minds and expect some flexibility on your part instead of treating a paying costumer like this?

  We had a fantastic stay. Villa Marguerite is a very beautiful place and Caroline and Florence are very warm and welcoming hosts. The rooms are very lovingly decorated and everything you might need is there. The garden is also a great place to hang out in. We can also highly recommend eating at the table d'hotes. Florence is a great and very experienced chef, and also one of the few in the area who knows how to make amazing vegetarian/vegan dishes. We ate there twice in three days because we loved it so much. The breakfast is also really tasty and fresh and varied.The location in Cadouin is also very good. I could go on but let me just say: if you can stay at Villa Marguerite, do!
