  A warm welcome Great value menu de jour, especially the italien salad starter would highly recommend.

  I have to say I was quite worried when I read some of the reviews, but the staff were very friendly and made our stay. The room was quite lovely also and it was incredibly affordable. The room was a bit hot because of the high temperatures, but overall both my partner and I were very pleasantly surprised. They appreciate you trying to speak some French, but that only adds to the holiday vibe I think. For 60 euro a night, I don't think one can expect any better.

  Food was good and the young waiting staff were pleasant, however when it came to payment the managing staff overcharged us, took payment for drinks and then didn't serve them because it was 'after serving hours'. Upon requesting that we don't be charged for unserved food and drinks they yelled at us and and threatened to call in the local sheriff. Trying to reason with them was impossible due to the language barrier and we ended up paying just to avoid any troubles. Awful experience here, which is in stark contrast to the rest of week in Lanouaille, which was amazing.
