Vézac is located just upstream from the town of La Roque Gageac, it is a pleasant and secluded beach, for swimming and enjoying a good, convivial meal at the snack bar at the Canoë Pirate base. Rent a canoe or a kayak, go with your family for a walk on the Dordogne.
The routes which range from 2 to 25 km offer you the discovery of the Valley of the Castles, you will admire magnificent perched villages (Beynac, Domme, Castelnaud) and medieval villages, along the river and in the surroundings. The castles dominate the Valley from their rocky promontory, from the river you enjoy an original and exceptional point of view!
Canoe and kayak trips are perfect for the whole family, from 5 years old (children must know how to swim) you are equipped with a life jacket and your belongings are stored in a waterproof container. Everything is included without the price: equipment, transport, insurance… The routes start from the base or you go upstream by mini bus, the return is always done by mini bus. The Canoe Pirate team will be there to give you advice on your itinerary and on navigation techniques.
