Great people super friendly. Only note be sure to show up 20 minutes early. We arrived just a couple minutes early and barely made it. Such a lovely experience though and super friendly staff. We did the 14 km route. They dropped us off up stream and we had several hours of leasurly paddling back. We passed Castlenaud, Beynac, and other great sites. Great way to spend the day.

A lovely relaxing way to spend a day in the Dordogne. One of many places to rent canoes for either a half day or full, probably one of the prettiest ways to see the area. The higher up the river you start the busier it is but as you meander along and pass the many beautiful sights the crowds thin out - and crowds it can be. Lots of families and couples, some with the occasional dog looking down into the water. Sadly a few parties of lads drinking excessively though fortunately this is rare. Soooo many places to see, picnic places to enjoy a lunch of bread, cheese and vine tomatoes accompanied by a glass of red from nearby Bergerac. Always a must when visiting the Dordogne. The current gradually takes you along. The staff here were very friendly and helpful. The views are simply stunning.
