  Nice situation within walking distance of Le Bugue, and pleasant pool area, but staff attitude very offhand. Service at bar left a lot to be desired. Chalets are not cleaned between stays (even in Covid times!) and no proper cleaning materials, so bring your own mop etc. "Recycling" bins were overflowing and all mixed up - probably goes to landfill.

  Good location, across the road from the river and a pleasant one mile (1.6km) walk from the town centre. There’s kayak hire, a heritage park and an adventure playground along the way if you're up for it. Choice of supermarkets across the bridge from the town centre. All easily walkable. The site has generous pitches, some with more shade than others. Electricity and water are adjacent to many pitches, nearby for others. Free WiFi available on our pitch, but initial connection was not intuitive. Sanitation block, like so many today, is unisex, but surprisingly toilet paper isn’t provided. That was the norm when we started camping but so many other sites have moved on. There’s a bar/restaurant, three good pools, and a lot of mobile homes. The Saturday night entertainment was unavoidable on our pitch.

  Site has been taken over and renamed, it is now part of the group that runs the 1900's themed park close by, which is well worth a visit or three. Great site, easy book in. Good food in restaurant, bread and croissants can be ordered at bar for next day. Our pitches were large and reasonably flat. Pitches large, 6A and 10A hook ups most french 2 pin but there were some Blue plug hookups. Pools were great. Easy walk into town along the river. Market day is a Tuesday, forget using your car until late afternoon, as traffic is chaos. The prices are very reasonable for a site in the Dordogne area. Booked again for this year, enough said. Due to Covid we had to cancel, we have a refund number to use next year and we are awaiting ferry timetable ready to book.
