    • Family campsite La Peyrugue in Daglan in Périgord Noir

Daglan is a charming little village on the banks of the Céou river, a stone's throw from the Dordogne Valley and the biggest tourist sites in Périgord Noir ! Camping La Peyrugue*** welcomes you for family holidays in a natural environment and a very friendly atmosphere.

A campsite with everything on site for your comfort

In a 5 hectare park , with a panoramic view of the surrounding countryside , the La Peyrugue campsite is perfect for relaxing, enjoying a quiet holiday with family or friends, far from the hustle and bustle but a few minutes from a multitude of leisure and cultural activities. On site to eat: a bar/snack (for snacks, ice creams or a drink ) and a restaurant but also take-away sales ( pizza, roast chicken ) of delicious dishes, to save you from having to go to the restaurant. cook while eating like gourmets! The campsite grocery store offers sweets to enjoy in your accommodation or to prepare a perfect picnic basket . Pastries, fresh bread, treat yourself in the morning to start the day on a gourmet note. It is also possible to have breakfast (reservation in advance) at the bar.

Good to know: in low and mid season, sit at the table d'hôtes! Monday, Wednesday and Friday evening, a menu with homemade cuisine, local products and good traditional recipes from Périgord awaits you. (to be reserved in advance).

A busy holiday at Camping La Peyrugue

On site, a multitude of friendly activities await you: heated infinity pool (with solar energy), fun paddling pool with slides and

water games for children, beach for sunbathing facing the pretty Peyruzel castle. You will also enjoy the joys of swimming in the Céou river . The freshness (relative in summer) is matched only by the clarity and purity of its water! Are children dynamic and like to move? They will be delighted to enjoy the magnificent playground with inflatable structure, swing, wooden structure , but also a super City Stadium for ball games, the volleyball court (organized matches!), the ping-pong tables, the indoor games room (for those rare rainy days) with table football, darts, pinball… while parents are nearby at the pétanque court for a game of bowls. To organize your vacation on your smartphone or with your tablet, wifi is free and available throughout the campsite.

As for entertainment, in July and August the La Peyrugue campsite offers themed meals, culinary themed evenings (BBQ, fried mussels, buffet), concerts, nights at the swimming pool, games. Children are supervised by a trilingual guide and can go on pony rides . During the day, a partnership with a canoe rental company who comes to pick you up directly from the campsite is organized, practical!

But it is above all the very interesting location of Camping La Peyrugue which appeals to families and the curious: cycling on the Voie Verte du Céou, hikes in nature and close to the charming villages of the region (Castlelnaud, Beynac, la Roque Gageac, Domme, visit to Gardens, Castles, etc.) sporting activities ( Canoeing and Kayaking on the Dordogne, tree climbing, via Ferrata in Marqueyssac)

      Accommodation at Camping La Peyrugue

Spacious pitches are available for tents, caravans and motorhomes. 3 different atmospheres are present: in the woods, on a terrace or with a beautiful panorama. Don't have a tent? The campsite can rent you a fully equipped tent, so you can enjoy the joys of camping even if you don't have any equipment!

The rental of Mobil Home Nirvana Trio in wood, which has the look of a small, very natural cottage. Luxury rental, they have air conditioning, are bright and equipped with mosquito nets, with covered terrace and large bathrooms.

Rental of wooden chalets, of different sizes, perfectly integrated into their environment with all the comfort of a real small house for 5/6 people.

All of these accommodations are perfect for combining a stay with family, friends or several families, where everyone will find the type of holiday accommodation that suits them.

An ecological approach: Camping La Peyrugue adopts an eco-responsible approach to the management of the campsite and natural resources. Management of water, waste, lighting, harmonious location of chalets in the landscape... Raising awareness among guests is also essential, so that everyone participates in the desire to have a good vacation while respecting this beautiful environment.

Our dog friends are welcome at the campsite, in a tent, in a camper van or caravan and even in rental properties.

This is a smaller size quiet campsite in a rural location. The area is good for cycling and walking. The site itself is on a hillside but the pitches are cut into the slopes so are all more or less flat, unfortunately there are few shady pitches but there is a nice plunge pool for cooling off and is one of the cheaper sites in the area.

We visited this sight back in July 2018, and have been meaning to write a review for Gilles and Deborah, the campsite owners. Fantastic couple, that made our stay very pleasurable, nothing was too much trouble. We thoroughly enjoyed their hospitality and they made us feel so much at home. The location is stunning and we enjoyed exploring the area, we will definitely be returning to this lovely campsite. Bob and Mel 😘

Very nice and quiet camping in a beautiful area of France. Owners are sweet and helpful and always help with a smile. Quite big places in a woody area, lots of shadow to be had. Nice restaurant with good pizzas and even Dutch kroketten and bitterballen, and friendly prices.
