Campsite Maisonneuve is a family campsite, located on the banks of the Le Céou river, in the Céou Valley, a stone's throw from the Dordogne Valley. It is an ideal place for a quiet family holiday, because the campsite is located on the Céou cycle route greenway, far from the road. For a weekend with sports friends, cycling, mountain biking, hiking, canoeing, but also climbing are on the program, with the presence 15 minutes' walk away, of the superb cliffs of Céou, a high place of climbing, renowned throughout the region.

Campsite Maisonneuve has been a family run establishment for almost 60 years. Come and meet Mathilde and Lucie, the granddaughters of the creators of the campsite. Today, it is more than ever a friendly, pleasant and calm place for a great holiday in the Dordogne.

Accommodation at Campsite Maisonneuve

Campsite Maisonneuve offers 4 types of accommodation:

• 140 campsite pitches of at least 100m2, spacious and with privacy for everyone. For tents , caravans , combis and motorhomes . The toilet block has recently been redone, for comfort and modernity. The pitches are arranged in the countryside, around a private field which limits vis-à-vis and noise. Some are by the river , with individual access to it.
• 2 safari tents are available, with a view of the sunny cliff, it is a perfect mix between campsite and rentals, for those who like the campsite atmosphere but do not have equipment. The tents are comfortable, they are made of canvas and on a wooden platform. The perfect “ glamping ”!
• A dozen modern mobile homes are available for those who like the comfort of a real little house, functional and pleasant.
• A stopover gîte allows hikers or walkers to stop. It is open all year round and you can rent it by the night.

Maisonneuve Campsite Services

The campsite has a very beautiful and large infinity pool. Heated , it is embellished with a spacious and perfect beach for sunbathing on deckchairs in the sun. A small paddling pool allows children and babies to cool off.

A restaurant (open from the end of June to the end of August), offers you a choice of dishes from the region, for a moment of conviviality to eat on site. The snack bar, which also offers ice cream, is open from April to October. Sit on the sunny terrace in the stone courtyard near the reception to eat.

The campsite is located on the Céou greenway cycle route, it is a linear route, which goes as far as the Lot, about 25 kilometers (one way). Relatively flat and secure, it is perfect for families with young children and lovers of pretty little villages. Visit Saint-Cybranet and Daglan, pleasant stops on the way.

The Dordogne Valley, a few minutes by bike, offers you the attractions of a very lively, dynamic region with many cultural and heritage visits and activities to do. Visits to Castles, Gardens, Most Beautiful Villages in France, museums. But also canoeing on the Dordogne, hot air balloon flight (take-off area right next to the campsite!), barge rides...
