There is no better time than May, June or September for a getaway to the Dordogne. The first reason is that the accommodation at the Moulin de David is offered at very low prices.
The second is that all the tourist sites are open and their attendance is still low, which allows you to explore them peacefully, at your own pace. And there are many remarkable sites not far from the Moulin de David campsite.
The two closest are the bastide de Monpazier, ranked among "The Most Beautiful Villages of France" and the remarkable Château de Biron, the one of the four baronies of Dordogne. These two sites are also so close to the campsite that they are accessible on foot via hiking trails.
You can also take advantage of the calm and serenity of the 16 ha Moulin de David to rest and take advantage of the campsite facilities. Although the period is classified as "low season" we offer activities and entertainment : accompanied hiking outings, initiation to Tai Chi Chuan, table d'hôtes dinner... As soon as the campsite opens. services such as groceries, on-site baking of bread and pastries, the bar and brasserie are operational.
