Would you like to enjoy the magnificent landscapes of the Dordogne from the river? Canoe or kayak down the Dordogne at your own pace to admire the castles, cliffs, villages, landscapes… from Vézac, just 15 minutes from Sarlat and 5 minutes from Beynac, the base of Canoë Couleurs Périgord offers you the rental of canoes and kayaks for routes on the Dordogne, from 5 to 22km.
As a family, opt for circuits of a few hours or half a day, to have fun, do some sport without it being too demanding for the children. With friends, to have a real moment of sport, opt for long circuits that will put your muscles to the test. The plus is that you park your car at the base and a minibus takes you uphill, so that you can then paddle back to the base. No need to rush to catch the minibus! Some routes do n't even have an imposed return time, you are 100% free!
Couleurs Périgord is a small rental structure, with a young and dynamic friendly atmosphere. Experts in canoeing and kayaking, they are themselves practitioners and will be able to give you advice on the handling of the canoe, the paddles and on the courses (an initiation is of course planned before each departure). A waterproof container will be lent to you to carry your personal effects without risk of getting them wet. Couleurs Périgord also offers canoe trips over several days, to make real canoe holidays in Périgord. In the footsteps of the gabarriers for 5 days, for example, you can take something to eat with you and reserve a place to sleep in one of the many campsites located on the banks of the Dordogne.
The Dordogne is a calm river in summer, it does not present any difficulties for browsing it with the family. Accompanied children can join the descents from 5 years old. Everyone must wear a life jacket ! During your river trip, you will take advantage of many beaches to stop, picnic and sunbathe, swim. Do not hesitate any longer and come and participate in one of the most fun and exotic outdoor sports activities in Périgord!
