Canoe and kayak rental on the Dronne, from Brantôme with Allo Canoës
To rent canoes or kayaks from Brantôme, the Venice of Périgord Vert, Allo Canoës welcomes you to its base (which is located outside the city center). You will benefit from a very large car park (for cars and motorhomes, with a picnic area and toilets) and routes where you can discover splendid nature, in perfect freedom, total escape and respect for the environment.
Jean-Claude Roullet (French Champion in canoe racing (29 times) and State Prevet in Canoe kayaks) and his whole team welcome you with friendliness and they will guide you to make the most of your sporting moment and escape. Novices or confirmed, you will keep an unforgettable memory of your stay.
Rentals are by the hour or half-day. The boats are made for 1, 2 or 3 people and the activity is open to everyone from 5 years old. Wearing a lifejacket (provided) is mandatory, a waterproof container will be provided to carry your belongings. Some routes start from the base, for others you will be taken to the starting point by mini-bus.
3 hiking trails are available, as well as hourly rental to go around the island of Brantôme, which is surrounded by the Dronne, at your leisure. You will admire a generous nature, surrounding an architectural and historical heritage of great quality! The course is fun with slide locks that are easy to pass.
The 3 hiking trails are as follows:
• Hike of 1h, 4km with in addition the tour of Brantôme
• Hike of 2h, 8km, from the Fountain of Love + the tour of Brantôme
• Hike of 3h, 12km, from Fontaine d'Amour + tour of Brantôme and round trip to the Moulin le Grenier
