Lascaux II, opened in 1983, is the first facsimile, located in Montignac on the hill protected by Unesco, a few meters from the original cave. Discover the exact replica of the axial diverticulum and the hall of the bulls which represents 90% of the paintings of the famous cave. Leaving the light of day for the world of darkness, you will have the privilege of being the only group and the feeling of walking through the original cave. Throughout the visit, the guide will strive to recreate the emotion of discovery and introduce you to the intimate and universal art of Lascaux. A storytelling walk will begin near the original cave and will immerse you in the history of this fabulous discovery.

In the light of the grease lamp, the works will unfold and come alive to the rhythm of this flickering flame.
